# Edit Role

The following steps are followed on the Role List page to edit roles;

1. Click the ***Edit*** button.

2. Edit the following fields if necessary;
   * Role Name
   * Description
   * Enable
   * Role Permissions

3. a. Click the ***Save*** button to save update.

   b. Click the ***Cancel*** button to cancel the editing operation.
