This section provides basic information required to use Live Testing effectively, including prerequisites, user roles, and login instructions.


👤 User Profile

Live Testing is designed for:

  • QA Engineers

  • Developers

  • Product Owners

  • Mobile Testers

No local installation is required. Users can access the platform directly via browser using their credentials.


✅ Prerequisites

To perform actions in Live Testing, users must meet the following requirements:

  1. Valid login credentials (email & password or social login)

  2. Sufficient user permissions (granted by admin)

  3. Valid app file names — App files (.apk, .ipa) must not contain special characters or spaces

⚠️ App upload will fail if file names include special characters or spaces.


🔐 Logging into the Platform

To access Live Testing:

  1. Enter your username and password

  2. Click Sign In

Alternatively, you can sign in with linked accounts:

  • Google

🧭 After login, users with Live Testing access will be directed to the Device List screen.


🖥️ Dashboard Overview

After signing in, the main Dashboard includes:

  • Live Testing: Opens the real device testing interface

  • Parallel Tests: Displays the number of concurrent test slots being used (Live + Automation)

This provides insight into your current session capacity across different Testinium services.
