The requirements for Jira integration are as follows;
A. Operations in Companies module; Adding Jira as a plugin
B. Operations on the Company Details screen; Setting Jira settings for the relevant company
C. Jira Settings in Project; Setting jira configurations specific to the project
D. Jira Issue Creation; Creating jira issue after test run
Plugin settings must first be made for the relevant company in Jira integration.
The following steps should be followed for plugin settings;
Open Companies module.
Click Edit button for the related company.
Click on Plugin tab.
Jira plugin is moved from Plugin list to Enable Plugin list by clicking Add button.
a. Click to Save button to save plugin setting. b. Click the Cancel button to cancel plugin adding.
Connection settings of the company for Jira integration are made in this step.
Open the Company Details screen from the menu in the upper right corner.
Click on the Plugin tab.
Click the Edit button in the Testinium Cloud section.
Enter the following fields on the screen that opens;
Jira Server URL
Jira Username
Jira Token
a. Click to Save button to save plugin connection information. b. Click the Cancel button to cancel the process.
Jira settings in the project are made by following the steps below;
Open Project List.
Click the Edit button in the related project.
Click the Edit Jira Settings button in the Project Form that opens.
Enter the following fields on the screen that opens;
Assigned User
Create Ticket Automatically After Scenario Error Count
Jira Project
Issue Type
Fields
Move the fields to be included in the Jira issue from Fields to Selected Fields.
a. Click to Save button to save project jira settings. b. Click the Cancel button to cancel the process.
After the conneciton and project settings, the following steps should be followed to create an issue in Jira;
Open the plan screen.
Click the Test Reports button on the test plan in the related project.
Click the Show button in the listed test result list to access the scenario-based test execution list.
Click the Show button in the related scenario to access the test result details.
Click the Create Jira Issue button on the screen that opens.
Enter the fields on the screen.
a. Click to Create button to create jira isuue. b. Click the Cancel button to cancel the process.
Click on the View Jira Issue button on the same screen to view the created Jira issue.
Issue created is displayed on the jira screen as follows;
